Taste the world ‘on a roll’ at new food festival

Sydneysiders can treat themselves to food from every continent in the world* at South West Sydney’s newest food festival, Liverpool on a Roll, on Saturday 30 March.

Created as a celebration of the city’s vibrant multicultural community, attendees can try international cuisine presented ‘on a roll’, including banh mi, bao, burgers and more.

“Food remains a bridge between cultures, helping to forge friendships and uniting people from all walks of life,” Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said.

“We’re proud to showcase our region’s multicultural diversity in a parkland setting in suburban Liverpool.”

In addition to international bites, Liverpool on a Roll will feature live entertainment, garden games, local produce for sale and a pop-up beer garden with Pimm’s cocktails.

“Liverpool on a Roll is a fantastic opportunity to bring the best in food to our suburbs, while also sharing a taste of the great South West with those who live beyond our city,” Mayor Waller said.

“I look forward to celebrating with attendees at Liverpool on a Roll and wish to thank our event sponsors and partners for helping to bring our new food festival to life.”

Liverpool on a Roll will be held from 5pm – 10pm on Saturday 30 March at Greenway Park, West Hoxton. All food items will be capped at $12.
