The Federal Government has released two new environmental grant programs, the Solar Communities Program and the Communities Environment Program. These programs are to assist your organisation with the practical support needed to reduce your energy costs and to help improve the local environment.
Solar Communities Program
What types of projects are eligible?
Installation of new solar PV, solar hot water and battery systems.Who is eligible?
Community organisation that are a legal entity, able to enter into a grant agreement with the Commonwealth. The organisation pays the power bills. If you do not own the building in which you operate, you must be able to gain consent from the owner to make modifications/installations to the building. If the building is under lease, the lease must be a minimum of 10 years or you must present information as to how long you have occupied the premise and from whom.How do I apply?
Complete the Solar Communities Program EOI and return via email to [email protected] or mail to The Hon David Littleproud MP, Member for Maranoa, PO Box 641, Dalby Qld 4405. Please note that to be eligible for funding, it is vital that you complete the attached EOI form/s and submit to The Hon David Littleproud MP office by Friday 22 March 2019.Will our community group have to make a co-contribution?

Communities Environment Program

Community organisation that are a legal entity, able to enter into a grant agreement with the Commonwealth. Community clubs, not-for-profit organisations such as Indigenous organisations, Landcare groups, schools, councils and other community and conservations groups.How do I apply?
