MEDIA RELEASE 14 March 2019
The first stage of the new residential land development in Kelso will be available by public ballot with registrations to open on 9.00am on Friday, 15 March.
The new estate located in Kelso off Limekilns Road has been named Sunnybright Estate and is a 95-lot subdivision. The lots are sized from 550m2 to 1740m2 and priced from $140,000 to $255,000.
Mayor Graeme Hanger OAM said the lots will be sold by ballot and the draw will take place on Friday, 12 April at 10.00am at Council Chambers.
"The land development program generates revenue which is used to fund projects, services and facilities that greatly benefit the entire community,” he said.
Under the ballot system, the names of people who register will be randomly drawn. They can then select a block of their choice.
Council's last land release was the Eglinton 100 development in 2016, a 59-lot subdivision.
Information packages and ballot registration forms can be collected from the Civic Centre or by contacting Council's Property Officer on 6333 6235.
