Ramping up for the official Bray Park Pump Track opening

If it’s got one, two, three or four wheels – it doesn’t matter – just make sure you ride, roll, skate or cruise down to the official opening of the Bray Park Pump Track this Saturday (16 March).
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett invited community members to come along to an afternoon of free family fun, with celebrations to kick-off from 4pm.
“I encourage everyone to get trackside this Saturday to help us officially open the Bray Park Pump Track,” Councillor Burnett said.
“There is so much on offer for a great afternoon and night, including live music, face painting, a jumping castle, sausage sizzle and our Moonlight Movies event from 6:30pm.
“The team from Sole Seeker Tannum Sands will also be running a scooter workshop, so I can’t wait to see the skill on display.”
Councillor Burnett said one lucky attendee will also scoot off with an awesome lucky door prize.
Funding for the project is through the Queensland Government's Works for Queensland program, which contributed $885,000 out of an expenditure cost of $985,000.
Council allocated $100,000 from the 2017/18 budget to the project.
