Acclaimed Australian theatre star Angela Lumicisi will perform ‘We’ve Only Just Begun – The Music of the Carpenters’ at this month’s Morning Melodies show in the Innisfail Shire Hall on Tuesday, March 26.
The Carpenters recorded some of the greatest love songs in pop music history and captivated not one but three generations of popular music fans.
‘We’ve Only Just Begun: The Music of the Carpenters’ is a moving, music-filled performance that celebrates the hits of the band while taking a nostalgic journey through the life and times of Karen and Richard Carpenter, the number one selling American music act of the 1970s.
Featuring hits like Top of the World, Close to You, Yesterday Once More, We’ve Only Just Begun, Sing, and many more, Australian theatre star Angela Lumicisi recreates the distinctive musical style that made the Carpenters among the best-selling music artists of all time.
Join us in the Shire Hall in Rankin St, Innisfail, next Tuesday for an enchanting morning, celebrating this timeless music live on stage. The doors open at 10am for a 10.30am start and the show runs until around noon.
