Alert – Main Street, Lithgow infrastructure disruption

Council staff have been working on a water main failure from the early hours of Tuesday 19 March 2019.

Unfortunately, the burst has compromised the integrity of the footpath and one of the awning posts in front of the Lithgow Palace Chinese Restaurant.

Council has temporarily secured the awning post, which will limit footpath access in front of the restaurant, but confirms that the restaurant is open for business.

Council thanks the Lithgow community for their patience, and will rectify the issue as soon as possible.
