From Easter egg hunts to arts and crafts, Liverpool residents will have plenty of choice when it comes to keeping their children and teenagers busy during the April school holiday period.

Around 30 events and workshops, many of which are free, will be held at Liverpool City Council’s libraries and parks, Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre and Macquarie Mall.

“Council is committed to providing children and families in Liverpool with things to see and do that promote creativity, learning and play,” Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said.

“Many of our school holiday activities allow children and teenagers to get creative through arts and crafts, music, dance, coding, story writing and more.

“Other activities, such as basketball and skateboarding workshops, promote the importance of keeping young people healthy and active.

“I encourage parents to take advantage of our extensive range of fun and affordable activities during the April school holidays.”
