The school holidays are fast approaching and once again Cessnock and Kurri Kurri libraries have a great range of exciting activities planned!
The library will be celebrating Youth Week 2019 this year with a Make Your Own Podcast Workshop, run by experienced music producer Carlin McLellan.
Kids will also be able to come to our Seams Legit machine-sewing workshop to learn their way around a sewing machine.
For Harry Potter fans, the library has put together a very special kid’s tech meetup – magic meets technology at the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s IPad Workshop! We’re setting the library robots loose in Hogwarts – what will they find? Harry Potter’s wand?
Cessnock City Library Services Co-ordinator, Rose-marie Walters is encouraging local parents, carers and children to get involved in activities in our libraries this school holidays.
“Our libraries are a fantastic place for children to learn a new skill, have fun and make new friends and there’s also plenty on offer for local parents too.”
Book online at: libraries.cessnock.nsw.gov.au, through the event listing on our Facebook page, or by calling Cessnock Library on 49934399 or Kurri Kurri Library on 49371638. Be sure to get in quick and book your place, as spots are limited!
