Running from 5.30pm–7.30pm, Peter Pan Under the Stars will be the last event of the City’s Summer Series of free, family-friendly, smoke-free and alcohol-free events for 2018/2019.
The event will feature a theatrical performance of Peter Pan, with singing, dancing and audience interaction. After the performance concludes, the crowd will be able to meet and greet characters from the show. Children’s entertainment specialists Fun 2 Remember will be delivering the event.
A range of entertainment options will be available before the performance starts, including roving fairytale characters and face painting. Food and drink will also be available for purchase on site.
City of Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels encouraged residents to bring a chair or picnic blanket and settle in for a magical night of wonder.
"The story of Peter Pan is a classic fairytale that has thrilled families for many years and the City is delighted to offer residents the opportunity to enjoy Peter Pan Under the Stars," Mayor Sammels said.
"Peter Pan Under the Stars winds up this year’s Summer Series, so I urge anyone who is a fan of Peter Pan or other classic fairytales to bring something comfortable to sit on and enjoy an enchanting evening to remember at Bell Park."
The performance will be suitable for people of all ages.
