Autumn is a beautiful season that sees leaves changing colour on our magnificent trees in Bayside. Unfortunately this creates extra work for our street sweeping crews who increase patrols to prevent the clogging of our drains and leaf litter going through to our bay.
We’ve started early this year to get a head-start on the problem and will continue through to the middle of June. We do our best to keep to the street sweeping schedule, however if your street is not swept on its scheduled day, it will be completed the following day (excluding weekends and public holidays).
What can you do to help us?
Please don’t sweep grass clippings on to the road. Don’t park boats, trailers and caravans on the street for extended periods of time so our street sweepers can do their job properly.For more information visit our website https://www.bayside.vic.gov.au/street-sweeping-bayside
