Community Nursery reopens for 2019
Bayside City Council 22 Mar 2019

Celebrate the start of the 2019 planting season while picking up some fantastic indigenous plants for your garden at the Bayside Community Nursery this Saturday 23 March.

Reopening to the public following its summer hiatus, the Nursery stocks a wide variety of garden-ready Bayside indigenous plants.

Varieties include shrubs, ground covers, climbers, trees and wildflowers suitable for contemporary and bush gardens, rockeries, balcony gardens and pots.

Indigenous plants are ideally suited to local gardens, requiring less water and no fertilisers once established. They create the perfect low maintenance garden, attracting local wildlife, birds and insects.

The start of April heralds the cooler Autumn weather which is perfect for planting indigenous species.

Come and celebrate the fantastic range, resident discount and great value prices at the Bayside Community Nursery.

Pencil in our Gala Day on Saturday 27 April from 9am - 2pm where volunteers can help you select the best plants for your garden. More details to come.
