Easter school holiday fun in Campaspe libraries

Keep the little ones busy these Easter school holidays with free activities across Campaspe Regional Library Services.

Library Services Manager Jenny Mustey said starting Monday, 8 April and running through to Thursday, 18 April, there are family friendly activities in all of five Campaspe library branches.

“We have many great activities planned including Bunnings craft sessions, special clay-based candle making, games, movies and Tech Zone sessions,” Ms Mustey said.

Children over the age of seven have the opportunity to make their own claymation movies with special presenter Steve Lo Casto, which involves animating a sculpture with playdough combined with photography. This activity is scheduled in Echuca and bookings are essential.

“In keeping with the Easter theme, we have egg decorating, where children over five years of age will use their imagination, mosaic shapes and beads to create their masterpieces,” Ms Mustey said.

“Get the whole family involved with making and decorating Easter top hats, followed by a parade at the end of the session.”

“I encourage everyone to pop into one of Campaspe’s libraries these school holidays and discover just how much is on offer for the whole family.”
