Rain did not stop 400 people walking through the gates at Central Highlands Regional Council’s auction on Friday 16 March 2019.

Many more bidders participated via phone and simulcast online, resulting in all 488 lots sold on the day. All items fetched well above the reserve price. The highest selling item was a road grader at $137,000.

Amongst the items sold were prime movers, various machinery items, cars and utilities, tools and building materials.

The auction was facilitated by Tomkins Auctions at the Emerald auction yard.
