Brisbane Anzac Day Dawn Service

Thursday, April 25, 2019, 4:28 – 5:28am As the name suggests, the Dawn Service begins just before dawn, with the sun rising as it draws to a close. Steeped in tradition and protocol, the Dawn Service is particularly poignant, featuring the laying of wreaths, sounding of the Last Post and observance of a minute’s silence. Brisbane's largest Dawn Service begins at 4.28am at the Shrine of Remembrance, Anzac Square.
