Advice of Shire Works – April 2019

The Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup advises that the following works are in progress or programmed to commence in the near future.  Please note all works are subject to weather conditions, therefore dates may change.

TREVENA ROAD, QUEENWOOD – Bridge Construction. Works will continue throughout April 2019 on the construction of the bridge and approach roads.

GRAVEL RE-SHEETING WORKS – Tassone Road and Macquarie Road. These works will be undertaken on identified sections of road. 

BRIDGE ST PATHWAY – Construct new pathway along Bridge Street from existing path (near Middleton St intersection) to Smith Street intersection. These works are scheduled to commence late April/early May 2019. 

BALINGUP-NANNUP ROAD –Clearing of fire-damaged trees from the recent fires along sections of Balingup-Nannup Road are scheduled to commence Monday 1st April 2019 and may take some weeks to complete.  Works will be undertaken in conjunction with Forest Products Commission (FPC). Traffic management will be in place and some delays may occur.

Hours of operation are normally between 7.00 am and 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.  Works will be clearly signed and you are requested to exercise due care when travelling near or through these areas.  Delays are expected to be minimal.
