The Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum is calling on the community to submit their newly recorded sounds of the region, to be played as part of Gladstone Regional Council’s entry in the 2019 Gladstone Harbour Festival Street Parade.
Gladstone Region Councillor Natalia Muszkat said this provides the community with a unique opportunity to showcase the Gladstone Region.
“The ‘Sounds of the Gladstone Region’ selections will be broadcast from 4.30pm (Sunday 21 April), during the Parade along Bryan Jordan Drive, through the Marina Parklands, over the Marina Bridge and finishing at 21 Lord Street,” Councillor Muszkat said.
For your chance to participate and share your region’s sounds with the community, submit a 30 second audio recording to the Gallery & Museum - [email protected]
The deadline for submissions is 4pm, Friday 12 April.
Hosted in conjunction with the 2019 Gladstone Harbour Festival, the Street Parade is presented by Workforce International and supported by Midday Rotary.
