The welcome rains overnight have led to a number of road closures. The Landsborough Highway is closed between McKinlay township to Cloncurry due to overnight rain. There is water over the road at Gidgee Creek. The Flinders Hwy remains open but there are several other roads closed in the region due to overnight rain. They include: Cloncurry to Duchess/Dajarra.
