Rita Island Road – Drainage Works

Burdekin Shire Council advises that drainage works will be undertaken on Rita Island Road from Anabranch Road to Towers Road intersections. The works are scheduled to commence on Monday 1 April 2019 and are expected to be completed by Friday 12 April 2019, weather and construction conditions permitting.
Rita Island Road will be closed to all traffic from Anabranch Road to Towers Road intersections to enable work to be undertaken safely and efficiently. Traffic will be detoured via Anabranch Road and Towers Road.
Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum for road users during the construction period. Burdekin Shire Council thanks residents and road users for their patience during these works.
