Baw Baw Shire Council has joined other Gippsland organisations, community groups and individuals in receiving an award at the annual Gippsland Road Safety Forum.
Baw Baw’s Road Safety Strategy was recognised with a Local Government Initiatives Award presented by Regional Roads Victoria (RRV) at the yesterday’s forum in Traralgon.
The award specifically recognised the community engagement and evidence-based approach used in the development of the Baw Baw Road Safety Strategy.
