Children can have fun, gain confidence in the water and enjoy an affordable school holiday activity during pool inflatable days at Council’s three indoor pools next month.
Pool inflatable days are free after pool admission and always popular with families.
“The weather may be getting cooler but our indoor pools are great places to visit during the April school holidays and the bonus is they are close to home,’’ said Mayor George Brticevic.
“The pool inflatable days also promote the importance of exercise and a healthy lifestyle,’’ Cr Brticevic said.
The bright and colourful pool inflatables include obstacle courses which children can climb and slide on while they increase their confidence in the pool.
The pool inflatable days will be held 12pm to 2pm, Tuesdays 16 and 23 April at Eagle Vale Central, Wednesdays 17 and 24 April at Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre, Bradbury and Thursday 18 April and Friday 26 April at Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre.
Entry is pool admission only, which is adults $6.50, children over five years and concessions $4, families $18, children five years and under free but must be with a full paying adult.
Bookings are not required, simply turn up on the day.
