ROADS UPDATE at 10.20am March 29: the Mulligan Highway is closed at the McLeod River (1.15m over and falling). Water is now below the bridge at the Little Annan. On the Peninsula Development Road heading north, the road remains closed with the Laura River North 1.6m over and rising, the Archer River 3.8m over and steady. Remember to check road conditions before you travel at www.cook.qld.gov.au/services/disaster and if it's flooded forget it. Next update at 12.20pm.
