On Saturday 30 March 2019 at 8.30pm Liverpool City Council will join millions of government organisations, businesses, residents and people across the globe in “switching off the lights” of our administration premises from 8.30pm for one hour to participate in Earth Hour.

Earth Hour is a worldwide campaign to raise awareness of climate change and environmental issues.

“Liverpool City Council is participating in this global campaign to demonstrate its solidarity and support towards raising awareness of environmental issues and to take responsibility towards a sustainable future,” Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said.

“Residents and businesses can register for Earth Hour at www.earthhour.com.au and turn off their lights for one hour on 30 March 2019 at 8.30pm,” she said.

Register your participation, spread the word and don't forget to “switch off your lights” on the night of Earth Hour!
