Thursday, May 9, 2019, 7:30 – 8:40pm What would you do if your heart went missing? Mary Anne Butler’s play Highway of Lost Hearts tells the story of Mot, a woman who drives 4,500km through the outback with only her dog by her side, searching for the heart that seems to have disappeared from her chest. Travelling through the broken-hearted landscape of central Australia, she meets a suite of characters both cruel and kind, all in search of their own missing pieces. Directed by Kat Dekker and performed by Bianca Butler Reynolds, this one-woman show paints a moving portrait of grief, human frailty and the power of resilience. This performance is presented by Minola Theatre, is licensed through the Australian Script Centre and is part of Brisbane's 2019 Anywhere Festival.
