Bike in the Valley is back!

Published on 02 April 2019

Pump up your tyres and shine up your helmet - Bike in the Valley is back for 2019!

This fun family ride, available in 8km, 20km and 30km routes, is supported by a ‘sag wagon’, which follows the riders to pick up any breakdowns.

Riders should assemble at Lilac Hill Park (North Pavilion) West Swan Road, Caversham. There will be plenty of free parking on the oval, with entry off West Swan Road. Please note, all routes are circular, meaning you will start and finish at same location. Electric bikes are also welcome!

Held mostly on semi rural back streets and bike paths, the ride is mainly flat and well sign posted, with marshals on all critical corners (there's no need to follow a map). There will be no road closures and ALL usual road rules will apply, including wearing helmets.Don't forget your water bottle to rehydrate along the way!

Good news - bike hire is also available through Brookleigh Bike Hire, but make sure you book in advance by calling 0401 077 405.

Enjoy a sausage sizzle run by Lions or bring a picnic to enjoy at the end of the ride, and get ready to ride rain, hail or shine!

This is a free community event supported by the City of Swan.

Date: Sunday April 28. Time: The ride starts at 10am, but be there earlier to register. Registrations open from 9am. Additional information: Please call Simona Willis on 9207 8555.

Please note, we cannot accommodate late starters. See you there!
