Gympie Regional Council and the Mary Valley Lions Club Inc., are inviting members of the public to attend the Outback Comedy Gala.
The event will be held on Saturday 13 April, 6.30pm to 9.30pm at the Amamoor Hall, 35 Busby Street, Amamoor.
Some of Australia’s most entertaining comedians are going bush and hitting regional Queensland with what promises to be the most raucous night of the year.
The evening is headlined by comedy festival veteran Dave Williams and supported by fellow comedians Christine Basil, Ting Lim and Craig Quartermaine.
The talented quartet have opened for international comedy stars around the world, appeared on national television and performed at the likes of the Melbourne Comedy Festival as well as Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney fringe festivals.
This event is an initiative of Gympie Regional Council as part of the Small Halls Revitalisation Project and is supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between Gympie Regional Council and the Queensland Government to support local arts and culture in regional communities.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for student/concessions and are available at www.eventbrite.com.au
