Gympie Regional Council and The Widgee Community Complex are inviting members of the public to attend Movies in the Park.

The all-ages event will be held on Saturday 6 April, 5.30pm at the Widgee Community Complex Grounds, 36 Power Road, Widgee.

Starring John Cena, Ferdinand is a story about a bull with a big heart who is mistaken for a dangerous beast and is torn away from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure.

Bring the whole family, your picnic rug, and sit back and relax under the stars.

A free sausage sizzle and refreshments will be provided by The Widgee Community Complex or BYO snacks and dinner.

Big games for the kids will be available before the movie, including giant snakes and ladders, giant noughts and crosses, quoits, cannon ball and ten pin bowling.

In the event of wet weather, the movie will be screened inside the Widgee Memorial Hall. Movies in the Park is an unsupervised event.
