Anzac Day 2019 in Boroondara

Anzac Day is an important day for Australia, a day that commemorates those who have fought gallantly in wars and armed conflicts and remembers those who lost their lives to safeguard the values and life we hold so dear. 

The Anzac Day tradition stems from 25 April 1915, the day when Australian and New Zealand Army Corps landed on the Gallipoli Peninsula during WWI, and celebrates the values of courage, mateship and resilience that were shown there.

There will be a number of services occurring throughout Boroondara to commemorate Anzac Day. It is suggested you arrive at least 15 minutes early.
