Quotes attributable to Mayor Cr Mikaela Power"It’s great to see Council’s $1.3 million investment go towards supporting local grassroots sport. This project has been a real collaboration between Council, the Victorian Government, tenant clubs and Committee of Management and we thank everyone involved. We especially thank Harriet Shing MP and Sport and Recreation Victoria for their financial contribution, without that this would not have been possible.”
“Western Park Recreation Precinct is an incredibly important asset in our growing community. We’re so pleased to be able to deliver a new oval for local clubs to use and enjoy. This facility gives players and officials more than just a space to train and play - it shows they are part of a community that wants to see their teams prosper.”
