Tutorial with Illustrator Craig Smith
Join renowned children's books illustrator Craig Smith for a youth inspired illustration tutorial. Craig has illustrated more than 400 Books over 40 years, including picture books, chapter books, junior novels and educational readers, collaborating with many of Australia's most experienced writers. For ages 12-18. Materials supplied. This is a FREE event. Bookings required. When: 2pm-3:30pm Saturday 13 April Where: Casuarina Library, 17 Bradshaw Terrace The workshop will be held in the Casuarina Library Meeting Room. Project Cosplay: Foam Armour
Project Cosplay: Foam Armour is a workshop for young people interested in entering the world of cosplay or EVA foam armour crafting. It's a 2 day workshop that teaches participants how to craft a shield and helmet from EVA foam. For ages 13-25. This is a FREE event. Bookings are essential. This is a two part workshop. Couch Surfing
Come see us at our City of Darwin Libraries stall during the couch surfing races. The couch surfing races celebrate the resilience of young people affected by homelessness on National Youth Homelessness Matters Day. Local services, schools, young people and community members come together and show their support whilst learning about what young people can do when they find themselves or a friend homeless. Come down and cheer on the competitors while enjoying live entertainment, food and info stalls. Presented by Anglicare NT and City of Darwin.
