MEDIA RELEASE 9 April 2019
More than 50 exhibitors, employers, and education and training providers are expected to feature at this year’s Bathurst Jobs Expo at BMEC on Tuesday, 30 July from 9.00am to 3.00pm.
The popular event, now in its fifth year, is for people who are seeking a career change, looking for a job or wishing to learn new skills. It will enable them to explore their options, ask guidance and gain inspiration.
Thousands of attendees from Bathurst and across the central west are expected to attend the expo.
Mayor Graeme Hanger OAM said the expo has gone from strength to strength over the last few years.
“The Bathurst Jobs Expo is the largest event of its kind in the Central West” he said.
“The initiative provides wonderful job opportunities for young people and job seekers, while continuing to benefit the community through jobs growth and expanding the economy,” he said.
The Bathurst Jobs Expo is presented in partnership with the Central Western Careers Advisers and sponsored by Charles Sturt University and B-ROCK.
