To deliver an all abilities netball program at Bayley House in partnership with Sandringham District Netball Association. Funding will be used for specialist coaching, equipment and promotion to the wider Bayside community.

All Abilities Inclusive Gymnastics
Introduction of an all-inclusive gymnastics program to cater for children with intellectual and physical disability. Funding will be used for equipment, promotion, specialist coach training and establishing the program.
Fairway Aged Care
Fairway Cycling Without Age
Funding is sought for a contribution towards a Triobike, in which volunteer pilots (riders) enable two elderly or disabled passengers to explore local coastal bike paths. Fairway is seeking to extend the program to include people with a disability both as “pilots” and as participants.
Bayside Toy Library
Increasing support and access to the Bayside Toy Library for parents of children with developmental delay and disabilities
Deliver additional play sessions targeting parents of children with developmental delay and disability. Funding to also support the purchase of additional specialists toys.
Disabled Divers Association Victoria
Snorkeling and Scuba Diving for People with Disabilities
The project will deliver six snorkeling activities at Ricketts Point. Moving towards client-generated activities that focus on training the participants to be independent snorkelers, not just providing a new experience. Volunteers from Marine Care Ricketts Point will assist with the project.
Hampton Life Saving Club
Disability awareness and inclusion day
Develop a video about disability inclusion at the beach featuring the opportunities for young families with prams and elderly with walking frames. Additionally, to deliver a disability awareness and inclusion day at Hampton Life Saving Club.
Sandybeach Centre
Accepting diversity through Fashion
In conjunction with Vision Australia hold a fashion show where people with a sensory, physical or intellectual disability and/or aged are the models. The event will present people with a disability as members of the community, heightening general awareness and promoting an increased understanding of community diversity.
Beaumaris Theatre Inc.
Inclusive Floor Level Seating
Purchase specialised chairs for the community auditorium that will support accessibility for community members with mobility issues.

Dance for Parkinson’s Hampton
Dance for Parkinson’s extending, improving and sustaining practice
To develop an online platform for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and carers to deliver at home exercises. The online platform will reinforce information and dance routines delivered at the face to face classes.

To deliver an all abilities gymnastics program for kindergarten age children. Funding to support the purchase of specialist equipment to support this new program.
The Give a Care Foundation Inc.
The Give a Care Foundation Launch For Disabled Persons
The Give a Care Foundation has the charitable purpose of addressing isolation being experienced by disabled people. This project is the launch event, inviting disabled persons from across Bayside to the Highett Neighbourhood Community House for a day of activities and socialising including silent disco and craft, leading into a future program of activities. Funding is recommended for venue hire and contribution to activities.
