It will be business as usual over the Easter Public Holidays and ANZAC day Public Holiday for garbage and recycling services.

Lithgow Council has advised that garbage and recycling collections will occur as normal during the Easter Long Weekend as well as ANZAC Day Public Holidays and residents should put their bins out on their collection day.

“Collections will occur as normal on Good Friday and Easter Monday and ANZAC Day Public Holiday Thursday”, said Lithgow City Council Mayor, Councillor Ray Thompson.

“Also with Easter comes additional chances to recycle so don’t forget to place your cards, cardboard, cans, bottles and empty cartons in your yellow recycling bin”, concluded Mayor Thompson.
