Council has released its draft Waste & Resource Recovery Strategy which is available for public comment until 5pm Friday 3rd May, and we want your feedback!

The strategy will guide the development and improvement of current waste and resource recovery practices to ensure sustainable outcomes for the collection, disposal and recovery of resources from waste generated in the shire over the next five years.

To provide feedback on the draft strategy, it must be provided in writing either via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by dropping in a written submission to Council Offices at 109A Binney Street.

The strategy can be viewed on Council’s website www.strathbogie.vic.gov.au/council/about-council/public-notices and copies are available for viewing at Council Offices and at the libraries across the Strathbogie Shire.
