Council will present draft documents prepared for the 2019/20 financial year at a public information session in the Queenscliff Town Hall on Wednesday 24 April 2019 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, and everyone in the community is invited.
The following four key draft documents will be presented at the public information session:
Draft Implementation Plan 2019/20; Draft Budget 2019/20 (including Strategic Resource Plan); Draft Rating Strategy; and Draft Long Term Financial Plan (LTFP).“All the Councillors are looking forward to the public information session, and we hope that people in the community will join us to find out more about Council’s planning for the next financial year,” said Borough of Queenscliffe Mayor, Cr Bob Merriman.
“We have used all the communications channels available to us to make people aware of the information session and encourage everyone to come along,” said Cr Merriman.
Council will consider the four draft documents listed above at its April 2019 Ordinary Meeting, which will commence at 7:00pm in the Queenscliff Town Hall immediately after the public information session.
The Agenda for the April 2019 Ordinary Meeting will be available on the Ordinary Meetings page of Council’s website, www.queenscliffe.vic.gov.au, and at Council’s offices at 50 Learmonth Street, Queenscliff, from 5:00pm on Monday 22 April 2019.
“All four draft documents will be included in the April Agenda and available to anybody who would like to read through them prior to the information session,” said Cr Merriman.
The process for making submissions on the draft 2019/20 financial year documents will be advised following the April 2019 Ordinary Meeting of Council.
