Several City of Ballarat services will be affected by the Easter break, beginning on Good Friday (19 April) and ending Easter Monday (22 April), along with the ANZAC Day holiday (Thursday 25 April).

City of Ballarat offices

City of Ballarat offices will be closed on Good Friday, Easter Monday and ANZAC Day.

Bin collection

All kerbside bin collections will be as normal.

Transfer Station

Good Friday: closed

Easter Monday: open 10am – 4pm

Tuesday 23 April: open 8am – 4pm

Wednesday 24 April: open 8am – 4pm

ANZAC Day: open 10am – 4pm

Friday, 26 April: open 8am – 4pm

Art Gallery of Ballarat

The Art Gallery of Ballarat will remain open from 10am-5pm daily.

Ballarat Libraries

All Ballarat Libraries will be closed Good Friday through to and including Easter Monday and also closed on ANZAC Day.

Eureka Centre

Eureka Centre will remain open over Easter, including Good Friday.

Daily opening hours are 10am to 5pm.

Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre

Good Friday: closed

Easter Saturday: 8am – 4pm

Easter Sunday: 8am – 4pm

Easter Monday: 8am – 4pm

ANZAC Day: 1pm-6pm

Eureka Pool

Eureka Pool hours will be as normal apart from being closed on Good Friday. The season finishes on Easter Sunday.

Ballarat Botanical Gardens/Robert Clark Conservatory

The Ballarat Botanical Gardens and Robert Clark Conservatory will remain open.

Maternal and Child Health centres

City of Ballarat Maternal and Child Health Centre and immunisation services will not be available between Good Friday and Easter Monday or on ANZAC Day.

After-hours services are available: 24hr MCH line – 132229, Parentline 132289 – 8am to midnight.

Meals on Wheels

All Active Ageing services will be closed Good Friday and recommence Tuesday 22 April, except for personal care. Recipients of this service have been contacted regarding their Easter service times.

For Meals on Wheels recipients, weekend meals will be delivered frozen on Thursday 18 April.

ANZAC Day meals will be delivered Wednesday 24 April.

Animal Shelter

The Animal Shelter will be closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday and ANZAC Day.
