Compost Facility Tours

Shire of Harvey residents are getting an organics bin in July and to help in the education process the Bunbury Harvey Regional Council is conducting free tours to the Banksia Road Compost Facility.

If you’re wondering what is going to happen to your lime green FOGO—Food Organics, Garden Organics bin once it leaves your house, come along for a free bus tour with your local waste education team to see where it is processed.

Wednesday, 8 May

Tour 1—Departing Harvey at 9.30 am (arriving back approx. 12 noon)

Tour 2—Departing Boyanup at 1.15 pm (arriving back approx. 2.45 pm)

Please note: As this is an operational site, you need to wear sturdy enclosed footwear that can get grubby and smelly, long pants and sleeves are also preferred.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
