Anzac Day Road Closures

ANZAC DAY THURSDAY 25 APRIL, 2019 TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES

Notice is hereby given, under Section 69 of the Local Government Act 2009 that for the purpose of Anzac Day:

(A) Chillagoe – Burke Development Road between Cathedral and Frew Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between 9.00am and 10.15am. An alternative route for through traffic is available via Cathedral, King and Frew Streets.

(B) Dimbulah – Glenn Street between Raleigh and Brickely Streets will be closed to vehicular traffic and side access from Stephen’s Street to Glenn Street between 4.00am and 9.00am.

(C) Kuranda – Thongon Street, at its intersections with Thooree and Coondoo Streets, Coondoo Street at its intersections with Thongon and Therwine Streets and Therwine Street at its intersection with Thooree Street, will be closed to vehicular traffic between 10.00am and 11.00am

(D) Mareeba – Byrnes Street between Middlemiss and Hort Streets will be closed to vehicular traffic between 4.00am and 1.00pm. An alternate route for through traffic is available via Rankin, Walsh and Lloyd Streets.

(E) Mt Molloy – Main Street, traffic disruptions between Clacherty Street and Crothers Street, managed by traffic control between 11.00am and 11.30am.
