Emergency markers pinpoint your location

This Easter, Victoria’s triple zero service is reminding people to familiarise themselves with green emergency markers when out in areas with no set addresses, such as beaches, parks and trails, in case they’re involved in an emergency.

Each marker has a unique code. When people quote this code to a triple zero operator, it provides details including the location and GPS coordinates of the caller.
