Getting ready for kindergarten: your questions answered

Find out all you need to know about Council’s kindergartens at our free information night in May.

The information night will be held in Woodend on Wednesday 15 May from 7pm-8.30pm and will feature guest speakers on kindergarten readiness.

Macedon Ranges Health speech psychologist Laura Hansen, Cobaw Community Health Children’s Services Manager Prue Southey and members of our Early Years Team, including educators and a Maternal and Child Health nurse, will be on hand to answer questions.

If you are thinking about registering your child for a kindergarten program, come along and hear what kindergarten is about, what your child will experience, and make an informed decision on when is the best time to send your child to kindergarten.

If you haven’t already registered your child for kindergarten, registrations for 2020 are open and can now be done online. Have your proof of age documentation ready, pay your registration fee and start your child in the first years of their learning journey.
