//Coorong awards $15K to Coonalpyn, Meningie and Sherlock community projects//???????????????????? The Coorong District Council has announced $15,000 of funding will be awarded to support upgrades and development of a local community event, community volunteer organisation and community centre. Winners of the 2018/2019 Round Two Community Grants Program include: ✔️Coonalpyn Show Society: $5,000 for upgrades to power supply, including additional 15 amp plugs during the Coonalpyn Show event ✔️Meningie Progress Association: $5,000 to restore the collaborative Meningie Bird Hide ✔️Sherlock Community Centre: $5,000 for the development of the Sherlock Sculptural Musical Playground (pictured below left - Kevin Poole and right - Rob Hughes experimenting with old farm equipment to include in the playground).
