We are seeking your ideas on how we can improve Brighton Rec and Wilson Reserve to meet the needs of the Brighton community now and into the future.
Brighton Rec is used by more than 2,000 people per week for community activities, classes, sports, childcare and more and Wilson Reserve is a highly valued open space.
The proposal to upgrade follows a Social Infrastructure Needs Assessment undertaken by Council in 2018 that included community and stakeholder consultation.
The assessment found that Brighton Rec Centre is ageing and has minimal access or connection to the neighbouring Wilson Reserve.
We are now looking to the future and need your ideas of how we can make it an even better place for activities, classes, sports, childcare and more.
Feedback will help us put together a design concept for Brighton Rec and Wilson Reserve to be used for a draft Masterplan.
