Capture your Autumn Armadale hills experience to win an iPad
City of Armadale 1 May 2019

As the deciduous trees turn hues of red, orange and yellow, the arrival of autumn in the Perth Hills Armadale region is a sight not to be missed, and by capturing a photo of your experience you could win an iPad.

Once one of WA’s best kept secrets, the Perth Hills Armadale region is renowned for its scenic natural beauty. There is a lot on offer in the region from wineries, cideries, restaurants, trails, markets, galleries, organic produce and farm-gate experiences.

Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said with Armadale only a 40 minute drive from Perth City, visitors don’t have to travel far to escape to nature.

“Share your experience of the rolling green hills and native wildlife when visiting this autumn for your chance to win an Apple iPad – there are two up for grabs and multiple entries are accepted.

“Simply capture an image of the autumn colours during a scenic drive through the hills, the changing season at Araluen Botanic Park, feasting on persimmons and other seasonal fruits at Raeburn Orchards, or enjoying a meal at the Naked Apple or Core Cider Houses.

“Or bird watchers can delight in spotting wedge-tailed eagles and red-tailed cockatoos as they explore the many trails and bushwalks along the Darling Scarp.

“The region is also gaining attention for its vibrant arts scene, so a picture at your favourite art gallery could be a winner,” said Mayor Zelones.

For your chance to win an Apple iPad just upload your entries to Facebook or Instagram, tag @PerthHillsArmadale and hashtag #PerthHillsArmadale to qualify for entry.
