IT Communications Network Expansion Works - Gill & Mosman Streets

Council will be installing underground fibre optic cable starting Tuesday, 7 May 2019.

Work will commence behind the World Theatre and move along Mosman and Gill Streets, finishing at the Excelsior Library.

As part of the works, small sections of the footpath and roadway will require cutting and  removal.

This work will be undertaken between 6am and 8am to minimise the impact on businesses during peak hours.

Residents and businesses can expect a small number of work vehicles and machinery to be parked along Gill Street.

Work is expected to be completed within approximately 2 weeks (weather permitting).

Council acknowledges that the works may cause inconvenience and appreciates the community's cooperation.
