VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITY

Central Desert Regional Council currently has school holiday volunteering opportunities, based in Yuelamu, Laramba, Ti Tree, Engawala and Atitjere Indigenous communities.
The program runs from 29th June 2019 until 20 July 2019.
We offer a full program induction and in community support with our experienced staff, as well as support from our Alice Springs based staff.
Your accommodation and travel from Alice Springs to your assigned community and return to Alice Springs, along with Northern Territory WHS requirements will be covered by CDRC
Upon arriving in community you will be assisting with Sport and Rec activities including AFL,Basketball, softball, arts & crafts, music, bush trips and much more.
This a fantastic opportunity to experience a unique part of Australia and gain a rare insight into Indigenous culture in some of Australia’s remotest regions.
Previous experience working with youth will be advantageous
