New Citizens Welcomed to the Shire
Shire of Harvey 8 May 2019

On Tuesday, 7 May the Shire welcomed four new Australian Citizens at its Citizenship Ceremony held at the Harvey Shire Council Chambers.

Aboriginal Elder Greg Little said a Welcome to Country to pay respect to the Aboriginal land that we meet on and welcomed the new citizens into the Shire.

Each person read out the Australian Citizenship Pledge, before being presented with their certificate and native Australian plant from Shire President Tania Jackson.

Light refreshments were served following the ceremony.
