Tuesday, May 14, 2019, 7 – 9:30pm Come and experience the extraordinary phenomenon of structured sound waves reverberating through your body. You might have “felt” sound from loud speakers at a rock concert… well what we’re talking about here could be described as everything from extremely pleasurable to scientifically proven to be therapeutic. Back in 2005 a study was conducted in patients preparing for general anaesthesia for day surgery and the particular binaural beats from a soundbath was shown to ease anxiety. The right and left ears actually hear different tones which mean a lot is going on in your mind! Tom Schache is a soundbath practitioner and will explain the process before leading us through the experience. He will play huge gongs, crystal singing bowls, and other percussion instruments. For more information about this workshop visit Jo Hassan.
