Tuesday, May 14, 2019, 7 – 9:30pm Come and experience the extraordinary phenomenon of structured sound waves reverberating through your body. You might have “felt” sound from loud speakers at a rock concert… well what we’re talking about here could be described as everything from extremely pleasurable to scientifically proven to be therapeutic. Back in 2005 a study was conducted in patients preparing for general anaesthesia for day surgery and the particular binaural beats from a soundbath was shown to ease anxiety. The right and left ears actually hear different tones which mean a lot is going on in your mind! Tom Schache is a soundbath practitioner and will explain the process before leading us through the experience. He will play huge gongs, crystal singing bowls, and other percussion instruments.
