Road, bike and pedestrian safety

We are seeking feedback on three important documents relating to safety on our roads, bike lanes and footpaths.

Road Safety Strategy

We have conducted the scheduled five year review of the Road Safety Strategy and developed a new draft.

Bicycle Action Plan

We have collated all of your feedback from our drop in sessions, online and surveys to create a great plan to improve cycling in Bayside.

Footpath Treatments Policy

Residents south of Bay Road in Cheltenham may be interested in the proposal to build four new paths. These locations have been identified due to public transport connectivity needs, disability access needs and the need to deliver potential shared paths identified within the Bicycle Strategy.

The closing date for comments and feedback is 22 May 2019.

It is anticipated the final drafts will be presented to Council at the Ordinary Meeting of Council on 25 June. Councillors will consider all feedback before making a decision.
