We are committed to protecting the personal information we collect, hold and share under the Information Privacy Act 2009 (IP Act).
Privacy Awareness Week (PAW) (12 – 18 May 2019) is an opportunity to think about the value of personal information, why it is worth protecting and to promote a culture that protects and respects individuals’ personal information by raising privacy awareness.
This is very important to us as we continue to deliver services, programs, infrastructure and support to our community.
In keeping with the theme for the week: ‘Build privacy into your everyday’, members of the community are also encouraged to think about how they can better protect their personal information too, particularly when interacting online.
Our Privacy Policy outlines how we adhere to the IP Act and the Information Privacy Principles contained in the Act.
For more information on PAW and to access a range of useful privacy protection resources, visit the Office of the Information Commissioner’s website.
