Aqua Jetty Continues to Boost Fitness in the Community

The Aqua Jetty is one of Western Australia’s premier aquatic and health facilities, and features a 50-metre heated outdoor pool, 25-metre heated indoor pool, indoor leisure pool with slide, hydrotherapy pool, sauna, spa and steam room, and a fully equipped health club.

Having initially joined the Aqua Jetty weighing 122kg, Mr Jackson was obese, pre-diabetic and needed assistance from a walking stick to get around due to severe knee and hip pain. Focused with a goal of losing 33kg before his 33rd wedding anniversary, Mr Jackson set about achieving this ambitious target, eventually weighing 87kg on his anniversary.

Not satisfied with this achievement, Mr Jackson has continued to improve his health and wellbeing, with guidance from Aqua Jetty personal trainer Rundle Gordon taking his fitness journey to new heights.

"My muscle size has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights and generally push myself harder throughout each session," Mr Jackson said.

"I took on personal training with Rundle and achieved more in the next three months than in the previous 18 and have continued making steady progress. I would recommend anyone who wants results faster and safer to get a personal trainer and highly recommend Rundle and the Aqua Jetty."

City of Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels congratulated Mr Jackson on his efforts and encouraged other residents to join in the fun and improve their health at the Aqua Jetty.
