The exhibition will feature portraits of local Rockingham volunteers which have been drawn and painted by residents and members from Rockingham Regional Arts.
As part of International Volunteer Day on 5 December, the portraits will share the images and stories of Rockingham’s volunteers and acknowledge the work they do every day across the City.
Mayor Barry Sammels said volunteering was central in building a City with strong community spirit.
"Here in the City of Rockingham we are fortunate to have a large number of residents who are willing and ready to give selflessly back to the community," Mayor Sammels said.
"Without the contribution of volunteers many community organisations, sporting clubs and social groups wouldn’t exist.
"The portraits on display at the Gary Holland Community Centre will share the images and stories of these volunteers, and will hopefully inspire many others to take up some form of volunteering role."
The exhibition will be open from 9am–5pm on weekdays and 9am–4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
